An Emmy and Cannes Grand Prix award-winning writer and inspirational creative and agency leader, Michael Hart has spent his career working with some of the most innovative, creative, and unconventional thinkers in the world. He vacuumed the carpets with James Dyson in his Bath, UK estate before helping him launch and introduce the Dyson brand to the U.S., spent weeks inside a locked room working on confidential projects for Apple, and personally created and led work for a long list of some of the most famous brands on the planet. As a founder and chief creative officer of MONO, Hart was instrumental in building the creative and branding agency into a repeat winner of “Agency of the Year”, with an enviable list of clients and brands, from Target to Google to the Harvard Business School. Often tapped for new product launches or innovation projects, MONO conceived and created the BOOMCHICKAPOP brand from scratch, designing an unconventional approach within the healthy snack category and a brand that was ultimately sold to Conagra for a quarter of a billion dollars.
Michael lives with his wife, Angela, in Minneapolis and has two adult children, Max and Julia.
He’s currently open to creative/brand consultancy projects on both the agency and client side as well as interim or fractional opportunities—especially at start-ups.
